"Unifex", Ltd.

The NVS Radio Beacon project implementation in "Unifex" Ltd.

In 2005 at "Unifex" Ltd. there was commenced the implementation of the first NVS Radio Beacon Project in Latvia. An area of the main warehouse of the enterprise is 8 000 m². "Unifex" Ltd. is one the biggest wholsale of consumer goods in Latvia, which imports, sales, distributes and supplies goods to the trading companies throughout Latvia.

In the result of implementation of the NVS Radio Beacon system "Unifex" Ltd. has acquired: 

• Developed warehouse management;
• Improved supply chain management in regions;
• FIFO, LIFO, and specific goods completing methods;
• Developed returned goods, shelf-life and lots of goods management;
• More enhanced efficiency of warehouse work;
• Bigger accuracy of warehouse work;
• Warehosue operations have become "more transparent";
• The enterprise depends less upon qualification of warehosue personnel;
• There has been ensured correct selection of excise goods (alcohol excise accounting solution);
• The quality of procurement planning has improved – reduced shortage of stock – in -trade (OOS)

During a long-term cooperation between "Unifex" Ltd. and "E-PASAULE" Ltd. there have been implemented also other projects:

1.       Implementation and manitenance of eAgent system;

2.       Implementation, support and further development of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
