SIA “E-PASAULE” has completed the implementation of the asset management system IFS Applications for JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid”, which is the natural gas transmission and storage operator in Latvia.
The asset management system IFS Applications provides inventory, maintenance, inspection and diagnostics of its physical assets - equipment, tool equipment, pipelines, as well as other infrastructure objects in accordance with the “Natural Gas Storage System and Transmission System Technical Maintenance Regulations”.
The employees of JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid” in the system perform the registration of technical incidents and the organization of their prevention works. The implemented system also provides document management functionality for maintaining the archive of technical documentation, as well as an archive of images and video files to record events and report on the operation performed on the objects.
The IFS Applications Mobile applications supports the process of inspection, maintenance diagnostics and repair management in online and offline modes, as well as the registration of internal inspection information of main gas pipelines.
Implementing the proposed solution, integration with significant information systems of JSC “Conexus Baltic Grid” was implemented, including SCADA, geographic information (ArcGIS), personnel accounting and document management system, ensuring operative and secure exchange of necessary data.
The number of IFS Applications users in the company exceeds 250 people, including more than 60 users using a mobile solution on EX-class tablets when working on remote objects.
